On the Oregon Trail

This is one of those places where pioneers on the Oregon Trail signed their names in the cliff.  Family members following years later would look for the names of family members to see if they made it this far!  The earliest date we saw was 1836.

Can you believe the famous Pony Express only lasted 18 months?

Ed captured this characteristic moment in the life of our Mo.
On the trail of the wagon wheel ruts!

This is one of the ruts carved in the sandstone by 1,000s of wagon wheel - over a metre deep.

It's hard to believe we are really here, seeing all these things we have read so much about.
