Marmee was a bit too sick to come to church, so Briony-Anne stayed at home with her while we boys went to church. There was a pot-luck so we stayed for a long time talking a lot. It was great fun meeting new people, especially Nathan, William and Tommy Harmon and Eric, Susanna and Malena Hall. Katie Benjamin suggested that we might like to attend a baseball game with her and her Dad - which thing we would LOVE to do!!
Everybody came home very excited and talking about their new friends and the excellent message that Eric Hall had given. Eric and Susanna are here from Maine for the training at Caring for the Heart, so we will get to see a lot more of them - hooray!
In the evening, Sally Koster (from church) rang to invite us for dinner on Tuesday evening with the Halls and Mr and Mrs Dupont. We are so blessed by the love and welcome we are receiving.
